Louise Broom is a chartered physiotherapist and has over 15 years experience of competing and coaching. Louise has a unique blend of skills allowing her to help you achieve YOUR goals. Using video analysis and pressure feedback, Louise can evaluate the cause of problems such as crookedness and asymmetry. Personal Best can also help if pain is affecting your riding or if you require rehabilitation following a fall or surgery.

Louise is now combining her passions of physiotherapy and dressage after competing and coaching for many years. She trained with the BYRDS scheme through her teens and competed successfully up to Advanced Medium. In 2000 she represented GB U-21’s at Blarney Castle and at a home international at The College. Louise’s pupils also had notable success at regional and national level.
Since qualifying as a physiotherapist Louise has worked in the NHS, private practice and at the English Institute of Sport in Manchester. She has also worked with York City Knights RLFC, Harlequins RLFC and England Women Rugby League. Louise currently works part time for the MoD treating and rehabilitating soldiers to complement her work at Personal Best.

You will find the PB performance lab at the Dalton end of Sessay, Nr Thirsk. Sessay can be found by taking the A168 from the A1 or by following the signs from the A19. On entering the village from the Dalton end, the PB performance centre is located on the right. There is a red post box at the end of the drive. Please ring for attention at the electric gates.
