Louise Broom. BSc (hons) Chartered Physiotherapist

Louise is now combining her passions of physiotherapy and dressage after competing and coaching for many years. She trained with the BYRDS scheme through her teens and competed successfully up to Advanced Medium. In 2000 she represented GB U-21’s at Blarney Castle and at a home international at The College. Louise’s pupils also had notable success at regional and national level.

Since qualifying as a physiotherapist Louise has worked with a variety of sports such as squash, swimming, fencing and athletics whilst working at the English Institute of Sport in Manchester. She has also worked with York City Knights RLFC and Harlequins RLFC. Louise is currently studying for a post graduate certificate in biomechanics and an MSc in Sports Rehabilitation and continues to research rider performance.

At PB we believe in an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to horse and rider performance. Our unique network of experts offers a co-ordinated package of support, with everyone working towards YOUR goals.  The PB network consists of team GB equine physio, Victoria Spalding and master saddlers and leads the way in making world class professionals accessible to the enthusiastic amateur.

We can also offer a consultancy service, whereby after initial assessment we liaise with your own physiotherapist, equine physio, saddler or instructor.
